I just happened to be here with my case of letters so they ran amok.
Thankyou to Mauri for keeping us company.
The words are probably still there, if you want to go looking bro!

Here’s a little overview I have put together of the ceramic text art that I have been making over the last few years.
Debbie Harman is a Melbourne artist who has been exploring ways in which personal text can be put into public space.
Much of this artwork has been done using ceramics.

Today’s workshop was a part of The brimbank readers and writers festival. Participants got to stencil words onto the pavement outside sunshine art spaces studio. It went down very well with the teenagers.
The workshop was facilitated by Toni Burton ( the Sunshine Art Spaces Curator) Michael Conroy (local artist with a residency at Sunshine Art Spaces) and Myself (Debbie Harman)
Today I ran the Mosaic musings workshop where people wrote on canvases using ceramic letters. Some people also played with our writing installation in the window. Here is the magic we made.

Have a look at the Sunshine Artspaces website to find upcoming workshops and opportunities.
Today I set up a few interventions, installations etc. for the Brimbank readers and writers festival in Sunshine at Sunshine Art Spaces. Let us see what happens over the next two weeks.
Will someone use these words to write with?

now here, I just couldn’t decide on which photo of Susan to keep and which to discard. I simply couldn’t as they both have their nice parts.
As ever, just a wonderful subject of exquisite fashion and exquisiteness.
